You will be good at working independently, using common sense but also comfortable as part of a team, and always meticulously presented
Previous experience in a luxury environment is an advantage
You must be comfortable communicating in English with guests and colleagues
Your responsibilities Ensuring guest engagement and satisfaction, execution and supervision of service to the required standards, with consistency in Food & Beverage Outlets & MPD.
A high level of floor presence is expected, engaging with both your team and our guest's is a priority.
Manage wages and employee costs, exercise strict control of overtime and agency staff, following One Aldwych approval process. Control public holidays, lieu days and holidays accordingly.
Effectively control beverage cost, keeping close control of wines by the glass and cocktails. Maintain a regular check on beverage stock and all other non-food items.
Ensure all beverages are costed correctly and have individual recipes with costs for all cocktails across the Hotel.
To adhere, implement and maintain all standards, policies and procedures relating to Food & Beverage service, as laid out by the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and General Manager. Follow all standards, policies and procedures relating to fire, health, safety and security at One Aldwych.
Strong emphasis on employee training and development, service quality, operational productivity, financial budgets and profitability, increasing covers and average spends.
