My client is based in Bardney, Lincoln requires a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join their busy chemical warehousing plant.
The role is paying £13.74 per hour and shifts are 08:00am to finish. Candidates should be flexible to work over 8 hours per day.
The client specialises in Chemical Transport - Nationwide. This is their very busy seasonal uplift and the we envisage the work to be for 1 month and could extend beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Operating forklift trucks to move stock around the site
Loading and unloading deliveries from lorries or containers
Stacking and storing goods in the correct warehouse locations
Checking loads are secure and safely handled
Performing daily equipment checks and reporting faults
Keeping accurate records of stock movements (sometimes using computer systems)
Following health and safety regulations at all times
Assisting with general warehouse duties when required

Skills & Requirements
Valid Counterbalnce FLT licence/certification
Good understanding of warehouse operations
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Physical fitness (some lifting may be required)

AN FLT Bendi License would be a real asset, but not mandatory.
The candidate must have their own transport to site due to the location.
