FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver

to join our well-established client based in

Tyseley, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday hours, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. Shifts: • Monday – Friday • 09:00 – 18:00 (finish times may vary depending on vehicle arrivals) Rates of Pay: • £13.00 per hour Benefits: As a FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Overtime available • On-site canteen • Free parking • Good public transport links • Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties: As a FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Loading and unloading goods from lorries or containers • Moving pallets safely around the warehouse or yard • Stacking goods in racking systems at various heights • Transporting materials to production or storage areas • Picking and placing stock in the correct locations • Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks • Ensuring goods are stored securely and not damaged • Labelling and scanning items where required • Carrying out daily pre-use equipment checks • Reporting faults or damages promptly • Following all site health and safety procedures • Completing delivery paperwork and communicating with team members • Supporting general warehouse duties when required Essential Skills: To be successful as a FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver, you will need: • A valid FLT Counterbalance licence • Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift • Good spatial awareness and attention to detail • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures • Ability to work efficiently under time pressure • Good communication and basic numeracy skills Training: • Site paid induction and ongoing support throughout your role Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
