The Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Floor Supervisor to join our front-of-house team and help maintain the highest standards of service management across our busy private events calendar. Youll bring energy, confidence, and warmth to every guest interaction, helping to create an unforgettable dining experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment and loves delivering service thats both professional and full of personality.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant, including servers.
Monitor service delivery to ensure guests receive outstanding hospitality and service.
Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the work environment in accordance with safety standards.
Provide input and feedback on potential strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall guest experience.
Event Management Responsibilities
Oversee the smooth delivery of all private events, ensuring service meets company standards
Act as the main point of contact on the floor during events for clients, organisers, and internal teams
Ensure all event set-ups align with function sheets
Manage guest experience throughout the event, handling queries or issues professionally and efficiently
Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and events teams to ensure seamless service flow
Monitor service quality, staff performance, and presentation at all times
Maintain health & safety standards and ensure licensing requirements are adhered to during events
Manage staffing levels, breaks, and reallocation of staff as required during service
Oversee event breakdowns, ensuring spaces are reset efficiently and correctly
Report post-event feedback, incidents, or operational issues to senior management
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting.
Familiarity with restaurant service operations, including serving and hospitality practices.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Previous experience with managing events.
Have a drive to want to develop within the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
