CMS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Fleet Personnel Officer for one of our shipping clients.Job OverviewWe are seeking an Fleet Personnel Officer to join their team in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will support the administrative team with all aspects of administration as detailed below:Key ResponsibilitiesExecute vessel manning plans by identifying, evaluating, and selecting qualified seafarers in line with flag state regulations and budget constraintsReview and approve employment contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company standardsPlan and implement crew rotations and end-of-contract procedures to maintain uninterrupted vessel operationsMonitor current and future crew vacancies and support the development of annual manning plans and budgetsCoordinate crew embarkation and disembarkation logistics, ensuring cost-effective and timely executionLiaise with flag state authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain up-to-date documentationCommunicate operational changes to vessel personnel and ensure access to relevant documentationAssess crew performance, identify training needs, and support the implementation of development plans in collaboration with training centersOptimize crew travel arrangements and monitor associated costs to ensure value-for-money servicesQualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years experience in maritime recruitment or fleet personnel operations or a similar based roleProven experience in employment contract development and crew planningFamiliarity with maritime labor law and seafarers rightsSkills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of vessel crew requirements and seafarer qualificationsKnowledge of global and local maritime employment marketsExcellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across geographiesHigh attention to detail and commitment to complianceStrong communication skills and fluency in EnglishProficiency in standard office software and digital toolsTo apply for this vacancy please send an up to date CV!JBRP1_UKTJ
