About The Role Job Purpose: To provide hands-on operational support to the Fleet & Logistics Manager across fleet, facilities, and asset-related activities. The role will support the day-to-day upkeep of company vehicles, buildings, and equipment, ensuring that CCS maintains safe, compliant, and professional working environments and that vehicles and assets are ready for operational use. Key Responsibilities: Fleet Support Prepare and set up company vans for operational use, including: o Cleaning (internal and external) o Basic checks (fuel levels, damage, cleanliness, equipment present) o Ensuring required documentation and equipment is in place Support the delivery, collection, and movement of vehicles between sites, depots, suppliers, and staff Assist with vehicle inspections and reporting of damage, defects, or maintenance issues Support vehicle changeovers, off-hires, and onboarding of new vehicles Ensure vehicles are presented to a professional standard in line with CCS expectations Facilities & Building Maintenance Carry out low-level building maintenance tasks, including: o Basic repairs (e.g. fixtures, fittings, minor maintenance works) o General upkeep of internal and external areas o Support the cleanliness and presentation of CCS offices and facilities Support the setup of meeting rooms, training areas, and operational spaces Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or defects promptly Asset & Equipment Support Assist with the preparation and allocation of tools, plant, uniform, and PPE Support asset tracking activities, including tagging, logging, and basic audits Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for issue Assist with the collection and return of company equipment from staff Systems & Administration Update internal systems (e.g. fleet logs, asset registers, tracking systems) accurately and in a timely manner Maintain basic records relating to vehicle movements, maintenance, and asset allocation Support stock control activities for fleet and facilities-related items General Support Provide ad-hoc operational support to the Fleet & Logistics Manager as required Support site setup, moves, or operational changes across CCS locations Act as a key support function in maintaining high operational and presentation standards across CCS Skills/Qualifications: Essential: Full UK driving licence Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills Ability to carry out basic maintenance and manual tasks Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Desirable : Experience in fleet, facilities, or maintenance environments Basic knowledge of vehicle checks or maintenance processes Experience using systems or asset tracking tools Personal Attributes: You pride yourself on truth and share knowledge for the greater good.
