What Youll Be Doing -Reactive Work

• Respond to emergency call-outs within agreed SLAs
• Participate in our out-of-hours support rota
• Diagnose and resolve faults across fire, security, and telecom systems
• Deliver both temporary fixes and long-term solutions
• Produce clear, accurate service reports
• Communicate confidently with clients about system status and next steps

• Carry out routine servicing and inspections to industry standards
• Test and maintain fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
• Service intruder alarms, CCTV (IP & analogue), and access control
• Maintain TECS systems including structured cabling and intercoms
• Identify system issues and recommend improvements

• Fire Alarm Systems (BS5839)
• Intruder Alarms
• CCTV (IP preferred)
• Access Control
• Emergency Lighting (BS5266)
• TECS / Structured Cabling / Door Entry

• Proven experience in fire & security servicing
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Solid understanding of relevant British Standards
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident IT skills for digital reporting
• Excellent communication and customer service

• FIA or relevant fire/security qualifications
• ECS/CSCS card
• IPAF/PASMA
• Experience with major manufacturers systems
• Understanding of SSAIB/NSI compliance

• Organised, self-motivated, and proactive
• Calm under pressure, especially during emergency call-outs
• Professional, customer-focused, and detail-driven
• Flexible with out-of-hours work when needed
