Financial Reporting Assistant Manager - Reading
Specialist Public Practice recruiters Clark Wood are currently working with a world renowned Top 10 firm of accountants in Reading. Due to continued growth within the firm and the Financial Reporting team, an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts & Financial Reporting Assistant Manager is required.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts, predominantly owner‑managed businesses, ensuring compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Review year‑end accounts for clients with supporting schedules where required.
Provide advice and research of complex technical areas and offer solutions.
Prepare and review consolidation models, including disclosures.
Understand corporation tax compliance requirements and information required to generate tax disclosures in financial statements.
Qualifications
ACA or ACCA qualified.
Experience of undertaking an Accounts or Financial Reporting advisory position in a client‑facing environment, with exposure to a range of clients from entrepreneurial SMEs to large multinational groups.
Experience of staff and client management.
Experience of Caseware preferred but not essential.
