FP&A Manager – Newly Created Role | Listed Group | South Manchester (Hybrid) £65,000 to £80,000 + benefits & bonus MDM Resourcing are working with a UK-listed group to appoint an FP&A professional to join its Group finance team. This is a newly created role supporting the business's accelerating growth trajectory and increasing level of M&A activity. The position sits within a high-performing finance function and will offer meaningful exposure to senior leadership as the business continues to scale. The Role Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will play a key role across financial planning, commercial finance and corporate finance activities. The position combines core FP&A responsibilities with involvement in strategic initiatives, including acquisition-related workstreams. Responsibilities
Supporting the group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes Producing management reporting packs with clear commentary on financial performance and key drivers Delivering commercial analysis to support decision-making across the business Acting as a finance partner to operational teams and senior stakeholders Improving the quality, integrity and usability of financial data and reporting tools Supporting M&A activity, including financial modelling, due diligence and post-deal analysis Contributing to wider strategic and cross-functional finance projects
Candidate Profile
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA) Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilitySolid experience of budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex datasets Clear communicator able to present insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Interest in strategic finance and corporate development Previous exposure to M&A processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
