Financial Planning Analyst, Cheltenham, 6 months, £50-60K plus benefits \nAn established organisation is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to take ownership of Opex reporting, cost control and Capex tracking for its Cheltenham site. This is a key role for a Qualified Accountant who enjoys delivering accurate financial insight and partnering with the business to drive performance.

The Role \nYou will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of monthly Opex reporting, providing clear analysis and supporting operational leaders in understanding cost drivers and budget performance.

\n\n

Key responsibilities include \nFull ownership of Opex accounting, reporting and cost centre management \nMonth?end responsibilities including Opex P&L, prepayments, accruals and intercompany \nDeveloping reporting tools and improving automation and accuracy \nInvestigating variances, resolving miscoding and reviewing trends throughout the month \nBalance sheet reconciliations and overhead reviews \nTracking Capex spend against budget and major projects \nSupporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting \nEnsuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and audit requirements

About you \nQualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) \nStrong systems capability with advanced Excel skills \nConfident communicator able to work with financial and non?financial stakeholders \nAble to build strong cross?functional relationships \nComfortable working under pressure and managing deadlines \nAnalytical, proactive and committed to continuous improvement \nThis role offers regular interaction with senior management, operational teams and global finance colleagues, providing excellent exposure across the business. \nIf you're detail?driven, commercially aware and ready to make an impact, this is a strong opportunity to step into a pivotal analytical role within a progressive organisation.
