Financial Planning Administrator

Job Description
We’re delighted to be working with a Chartered wealth management firm with offices across the UK. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to engage with an experienced IFA administrator to join their North West office. This is a firm known for its professionalism, commitment to staff development, and long-term approach to client relationships.
The role involves working closely with a paraplanner and supporting a small number of advisers, providing full administrative support across the advice process. The position is initially office-based to ensure familiarity with systems and processes, but once up and running, the firm operates a hybrid model offering two days from home each week. It’s a collaborative and supportive environment, where high standards are expected, and ongoing development is encouraged.
The successful individual would be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including obtaining valuations, processing new business, liaising with providers, managing diaries, and ensuring client records and files remain fully compliant. There is close interaction with both the paraplanning and advice teams, and the role plays a vital part in ensuring that clients receive a seamless and high-quality service.
This opportunity may appeal to someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, who takes pride in their organisational skills, and who values accuracy and attention to detail. Experience within an IFA environment is important, and knowledge of platforms and back-office systems such as Intelligent Office would be helpful. For those interested in further study, there is support available toward the RO exams and progression toward full diploma status.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
