Pineapple are on the hunt for a commercially-minded Financial Controller to join our Clients Senior Management Team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations.This is a high-impact role within a successful, Worcestershire based company, that will see you report directly to the Board/Finance Director.You will be tasked with bridging the gap between technical accounting excellence and commercial strategy, ensuring the finance function is "best-in-class" while supporting the wider business in achieving its long-term objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Direct management and mentoring of the finance function, fostering a collaborative environment and driving professional standards across the team.Financial Control: Full oversight of the month-end process, ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and the delivery of accurate, timely management information.Planning & Analysis: Coordinating the annual budgeting process and providing insightful forecasting to support strategic decision-making.Compliance & Audit: Managing the year-end statutory process, tax compliance, and maintaining a robust internal control framework.Business Partnering: Acting as a key advisor to non-finance department heads, translating complex data into actionable commercial insights.Systems & Change: Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance reporting tools, and improve overall departmental efficiency.Your ProfileWe are seeking a proactive, fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who thrives in a dynamic environment.
