The Company:
A growing international logistics business is seeking a Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function. Operating across multiple global markets, the company manages complex cross=border operations, multi-currency transactions and international tax requirements.
This is a key leadership role, working closely with the senior management team to provide accurate financial reporting, strong cashflow visibility and commercial insight to support continued international growth.

The Role: You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of finance, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and effective management of international financial risk across currencies, taxation and working capital.

Key Responsibilities: Own monthly close, management accounts and balance sheet integrity
Manage multi-currency operations, foreign exchange exposure and cashflow forecasting
Oversee international VAT, duties and corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Provide financial reporting, analysis and business partnering to leadership
Drive improvements to financial controls, processes, systems and data quality

Skills & Experiences: Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Financial Controller within an international business environment
Strong knowledge of international tax, VAT and cross-border compliance
Experience managing multi-currency transactions, FX exposure and working capital
Hands-on, commercially focused and comfortable operating within growing SME
