WeareworkingcloselywithaThirsk-basedbusinesstoappointaFinancialControllertothebusiness.ThisisanewpositioninthebusinesswhereyouwillbereportingtoanFD,whileoverseeingandmentoringasmallteamtosupportandensuresmoothprocessesacrossAP,AR,VAT,Banking,Payroll,monthlyclosing,andbothinternalandstatutoryreporting.
Therolecanbepart-timeacross3-4days,orfull-timefortherightperson.Thereisalsotheadditionalbenefitofhybridworking.
Responsibilitieswillinclude,butarenotlimitedto:
ReviewandauthorisationofBACSpaymentrun
Bankreconciliations
Cashflowanalysisandforecasting
VATreview,reconciliationandquarterlyreturns
Payrollreviewandexceptionreporting
Accountingsystemmaintenanceandmanagement,includingjournalpostings
MonthlyBalanceSheetreconciliationspreparation
AssistingtheAP&ARfunctionatmonth-end
Bepartoftheprojectmanagementandimplementationofnewsoftware
StatutoryreportingYear-endAuditassistance
Criteria:
BeCIMA/ACCAorACAqualified
BeaconfidentuserofSage50andhaveadvancedExcelskills
Provenpeoplemanagementexperience
