WearelookingtorecruitaCompanyAccountantwhowillbecomfortableworkinginafast-pacedenvironmentandwillberesponsibleformanagingateamofManagementAccountants,overseeingthepreparationofthemonthlymanagementaccountpacks.ReportingtotheGroupFinanceDirector,youwillsupportthewiderFinancefunctionandberesponsibleforbuildingandmaintainingstrongrelationshipswithkeybusinessstakeholders.WearelookingforsomeonewiththeabilitytobeakeyinfluencerandkeentoprogresstoaFinanceControllerroleovertime.
Responsibilities:
Toensuretheaccurateandtimelypreparationofthemonthlymanagementaccounts.
Totakeownershipofthestatutoryyearendaudit
Tomanageasmallteamofmanagementaccountants.
ToensurethatVATreturnsarecompletedaccuratelyandsubmittedontime.
ToensurethetimelysubmissionofgroupEUintrastats
ToworkalongsidetheGroupFDtoenhancethemonthendreportingpacktomeettherequirementsofthebusiness
Workalongsidetheseniormanagementteamtodrivethecompanystrategyforward
Education:
ACCA/ACAQualified
Experience,KnowledgeandSkills
Experienceofworkinginamanagementaccountsfunction
Teammanagementexperience
Asubjectmatterexpert
Stronginrelationshipbuildingandcollaborationwithalllevelsofstaff
Goodorganisational,timeandprojectmanagementskills
