We are actively seeking someone who has experience of financial control within the Construction sector. Previous industry experience is essential. Role will be to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the organisations financial health. You will have a background in financial management, proficiency with SAGE accounting software, and the ability to lead financial strategies effectively. The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining robust financial controls across all departments.

Responsibilities Prepare, analyse, and present accurate financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards. Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Utilise accounting software Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies through regular audits and reviews. Manage cash flow, optimise financial processes, and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide strategic advice to senior management on financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities.
