Finance Manager, Milton Keynes\n£55- £60kpa plus benefits \n\nOur client, a rapidly expanding, scale-up business, has created a Finance Manager role to help them through their next period of growth. In this role, you will take full ownership of the finance function - from robust accounting and compliance to forecasting, commercial insight and cash management. You'll work closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing and Production, report directly to the executive team, and lead a small team.

Open to candidates moving straight from practice.\n\nKey Duties:\n* Lead month-end close, management accounts and key reconciliations\n* Maintain accurate, reliable P&L and balance sheet reporting\n* Ensure compliance and keep the business audit-ready\n* Oversee budgeting and reforecasting cycles\n* Build commercial models to explain performance and support decisions\n* Partner with budget owners to improve cost control, margins and ROI\n* Manage VAT, Corporation Tax and all statutory submissions\n* Liaise with external accountants and advisers where required\n* Translate complex data into clear insights on unit economics, pricing, promotions and paybacks\n* Streamline processes and automate manual tasks\n* Manage cashflow, liquidity and working capital\n* Forecast funding needs and monitor FX exposure where relevant\n\nIdeal candidate profile:\n* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)\n* Recently qualified preferred; experience from a Big 4 firm is advantageous\n* Solid technical foundation paired with sharp commercial awareness\n* Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and confident building clear, reliable financial models\n* Strong communicator who can translate data into insight and drive decision-making\n* Takes genuine ownership - proactive, hands-on and focused on delivering results\n\nAGY - Vitae Financial Recruitment\nWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
