Role: Finance Manager

Location: Hessle (Hybrid)

Compensation: £65,000–£75,000

An established, growing business based in Hessle is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its finance team. This role offers a mix of technical challenge, commercial exposure and the opportunity to lead a small, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory audit files and act as primary liaison with external auditors
• Deliver accurate and timely internal and external reporting
• Oversee month-end, balance sheet integrity and key financial controls
• Provide strong technical accounting support across the business
• Manage and develop two team members, driving best practice
• Support commercial decision-making with insightful financial analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting frameworks

About You

• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Confident managing the audit process end-to-end
• Experience leading or mentoring team members
• Commercially minded with the ability to support strategic decision-making
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
