About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Manager for our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, responsible for driving the organisation's financial planning, performance measurement, and insightful decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

Budgeting and Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting process for the Group, ensuring financial plans are robust, challenging, and strategically aligned with Morrisons' broader commercial objectives. Manage our reforecasting cycle, incorporating market trends, operational changes, and latest performance data to provide an accurate, forward-looking view of the P&L Performance Analysis

Oversee the production and distribution of the Group's financial performance, including weekly performance updates and periodic management accounts Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable commercial insights for senior management and non-finance stakeholders. Business Partnering

Act as the primary financial business partner to senior finance leaders providing support and guidance on business initiatives and performance Proactively challenge commercial and operational assumptions to ensure decisions align with the Group's objectives Continuous Improvement

Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, leveraging financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency, automate manual tasks, and improve data integrity. Lead the financial aspects of implementing and improving budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems, guaranteeing alignment with changing business requirements. About you Personal Requirements

Proven track record in a similar role Ability to influence key decision makers at all levels Strong technical capability and ability to data from a variety of sources Problem solving mindset People management and leadership experience and excellent communication skills Hold a relevant finance qualification CIMA/ACCA etc. Experience of Anaplan preferred but not essential About us In return for all your hard work, you will receive:
