Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to oversee financial operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, accounting, and services, ensuring the organisation's financial health and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles. The Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding strategic financial decisions and maintaining effective financial controls across all departments.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Oversee financial accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
* Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
* Implement cost control measures to optimise organisational efficiency and profitability.
* Provide strategic leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development and high performance.
* Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems for internal use and external stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with senior management to support organisational growth through effective financial planning.
* Monitor cash flow and optimise working capital management strategies.
Requirements
* Proven experience in financial management, including financial accounting and services.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
* Experience managing accounts payable processes and implementing efficient financial systems.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* Professional qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is but not essential.
