Operating in a fast‑moving, complex environment, this business continues to experience significant growth and transformation, offering an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious finance leader to make a real impact.The RoleAs Finance Director, you will take full ownership of financial strategy, planning, and performance across a high‑profile business unit. You will lead a team of around 30 finance professionals, driving excellence across financial reporting, control, budgeting, and commercial insight. You will work closely with the Group CFO through a dotted-line reporting structure, influencing key decisions at both operational and strategic levels. This role is central to shaping the financial direction of a large, multi‑site, fast-paced organisation.Ideally you will be available at short notice.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a finance team of 20, fostering a high‑performance culture.Provide strategic financial leadership, supporting long‑term planning and business growth initiatives.Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.Deliver insightful commercial analysis to support operational and strategic decision‑making.Enhance financial controls, governance, and processes across a complex business environment.Partner with senior stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and group functions.Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and financial performance.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will be a proven finance leader with experience operating in a large, complex, and fast‑paced organisation—ideally within logistics, supply chain, distribution, or a related environment.You will have:Full accounting qualification: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA8+ years PQE, ideally with experience at a senior finance leadership levelA track record of leading sizeable teams and influencing executive stakeholdersStrong technical and commercial finance expertiseThe ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving business environmentExcellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skillsAvailable to start at short noticeWhat’s on OfferThe opportunity to shape the financial agenda of a major business unit within a high‑growth group #J-18808-Ljbffr
