Finance Business Partners X3

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, we are seeking 3 analytically minded and commercially focused Finance Business Partners to join a growing, client-led professional services organisation who are setting up a new commercial finance function. These roles are a bridge between finance and operational teams, delivering high-quality financial insight and practical support that underpins decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior managers and service-line leaders to support planning, pricing and resourcing decisions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for assigned business units.
  • Provide commercial insight on client profitability, utilisation, and project performance.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs for operational teams and leadership reporting.
  • Support business cases for investment in technology, new service offerings and market expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and assist with internal/external audit processes.


Candidate Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 3–6 years’ post-qualification or relevant finance experience, ideally gained in a professional-services or project-based environment.
  • Would also suit ACA qualified from top10 with 3-6 years post qualified experience
  • Demonstrable business partnering skills with an ability to build relationships and influence non-finance colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability; experience with practice-management or ERP systems advantageous.
  • Commercially aware, proactive and eager to develop towards a senior business partnering role.
