Working with the finance team, in this role you will be instrumental in driving the overall growth strategy for the business. You will be responsible for the finance function of a key facility though you will also have exposure and input to the wider business area and group. In this role you will play a critical role in future planning. You will partner with operational leadership to support and influence operating decisions based on real time financial data and analysis. Act as a key link between Finance and Operations, shaping strategy, influencing day-to-day decisions, and driving business direction. Bring a strong commercial mindset, anticipating the needs of both operational teams and senior management to support business goals. Lead initiatives to continuously improve performance across the assembly unit through robust financial management and clear communication of key results. Analyse and interpret financial data, transforming insights into concise, practical recommendations for stakeholders. Take ownership of your recommendations, demonstrating strong ethics and the confidence to stand by your principles. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels - challenging, coaching, and motivating teams to achieve divisional objectives. Lead and develop a multi-site finance team, fostering a true business partnering culture through ongoing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities. Collaborate closely with the wider group, ensuring financial processes add measurable value to the business. Ensure full compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and deadlines, while organising resources for accurate and timely reporting. Partner with the compliance function to strengthen internal controls, safeguarding company assets and ensuring reliable financial information. Criteria A record of successful performance management with a focus on continuous improvement. At least 5 years PQ experience in a relevant business partner position with cross functional collaboration experience across multiple operational departments. Effective knowledge and working use of ERP system Commercial astute, within demonstrable leadership skills in a similar position Educated to degree level, with an accounting qualification, ideally CIMA. ACCA or ACA qualifications will be considered for those with direct manufacturing industry experience.
