The business provides high performance bar and event solutions to the world’s best consumer brands and entertainment/sports organisations. The role will suit a part- or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant with project accounting and FP&A experience within the events/hospitality/venue space.The RoleFinanceMonth‑end close for both venuesWeekly performance reporting to directorsRegular analysis of income, GP%, staffing costsAssist in preparing the annual budgets and reforecasts/rolling forecastYear‑end audit supportOversee weekly payment runs for the venuesAssist the Finance team in any other ad hoc projects and events.Events & VenuesProducing ad‑hoc budgets and projections for the DirectorsReconcile card and cash takings to accurately report and recognise revenueOwning the event budget from a Finance perspective and challenging any overspendsLiaising with Operations and Management to ensure correct and timely client reportingWorking with Project Managers to reconcile projects against budget, challenge overspend and report on variancesProducing analysis & reports to identify trends to help onsite operationsClient reporting coordinationDevelop detailed understanding of allocated venues/events, and drive continuous improvement in financial system, process and proceduresThe PersonProject accounting and restaurant/venue/events business experienceBalance of proactive challenge and supportAdvanced Excel (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables)Strong analytical and budgeting skillsComfortable with large data sets and complex spreadsheetsOrganised, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑drivenExcellent communication and presentationPreferredDeep understanding of restaurant, venues or retail operationsExperience managing multiple revenue streams and cost centresGrowth mindset for events and entertainment sectorExperience with Paprika accounting systemSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionFinance and Accounting/AuditingIndustries: Spectator Sports, Hospitality, and Events ServicesLocation: London, England, United KingdomSalary: £90,000 - £100,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
