Field Service Engineer

UK wide travel; regional patch with occasional overnight stays and on call

What will you be doing?
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas engines and associated plant
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out repairs
Supporting plant uptime and minimising downtime across customer sites
Completing detailed service reports and technical documentation
Managing van stock, tools, and spare parts effectively
Attending breakdown callouts as part of a rota
Collecting and managing oil samples for analysis
Supporting junior engineers and contributing to team development

Where will you be doing it?
Working for an established international energy business specialising in gas engine power solutions; operating across a regional UK patch in a customer facing role within industrial and energy generation environments, supported by a strong technical and operational team.

What will you need?
Experience working on gas engines; CHP, or similar ideal
Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
Engineering qualification in mechanical, electrical, or similar
Full UK driving licence
Comfortable using IT systems for reporting and diagnostics
Willingness to travel and work away occasionally
Gas Safe qualification advantageous but not essential
