Do you have previous technical experience in servicing machines?\n\nAre you experienced in fault finding?\n\nJob Title: Field Service Engineer\n\nLocation: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire\n\nHours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours day shift\n\nSalary: £negotiable DOE + Company car, laptop, mobile phone\n\nContract Type: Full time, permanent\n\nSector: Engineering & Technical\n\nOur client based in Cambridge is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their business on a full time, permanent basis.\n\nAs Field Service Engineer your duties will include:\n\n * Travelling around the Cambridgeshire area to carry out repairs, maintenance and installations of company equipment\n\n * Upselling company products when possible\n\n * Coordinating parts deliveries so that work can be carried out\n\n * Speaking to customers face to face and understanding their requirements\n\n * Updating relevant paperwork / IT system.\n\nAn ideal candidate for the Field Service Engineer will have:\n\n * Previous technical experience involving fixing/maintaining machines\n\n * Fault finding skills\n\n * IT literacy\n\n * Ability to work autonomously\n\n * Full driving license\n\nIdeally you will have experience within a similar position.
