Role-Field Service Engineer

Salary- £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Type- Permanent

Location- Birmingham - On the road

My client is a specialist service provider of precision cutting systems. They are looking for an Engineer to join their team near Birmingham on a permanent basis.

The Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

3 year or more of experience in a similar Service/Maintenance Engineering position
Have a background in servicing/maintenance and principles
Knowledge of electrical engineering
Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
The ability to understand system requirements
Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Engineer role will involve:

Provide servicing & maintenance for cutting systems
Identifying and rectifying faults on cutting systems
Guidance and assistance to customers as required on functional and technical information
Maintaining working relationships with colleagues and clients
