Field Service Engineer Home Based - UK Wide + International Travel £38-45k + Company Car + Overtime Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of industrial automation and packaging machinery. This role will suit an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer who enjoys fault finding and working on customer sites across a range of manufacturing environments.The successful Field Service Engineer can be based anywhere in the UK. The position is heavily site-based and could suit someone at the earlier stage of their career who is progressing well and wants to accelerate their development in a hands-on, customer-facing role.Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include Carrying out service, maintenance and fault finding on automated machinery across FMCG, food and automotive environmentsPerforming testing and diagnostics to ensure equipment is fully operational before handoverDelivering training to customers on operation and basic maintenance of machineryCompleting preventative maintenance activities and installing retrofit upgradesActing as the on-site representative of the business, building strong working relationships with customersIdentifying opportunities for improvements, spare parts and ongoing service supportThis role involves significant travel around 95% of your time will be spent away from home, with approximately 75% of site work within the UK and the remainder overseas.The ideal Field Service Engineer will have Electrically biased but multi-skilled background; including controls, drives and fault findingExperience within manufacturing environments such as FMCG, food or automotiveExposure to industrial automation, packaging machinery or special purpose equipmentStrong problem-solving ability and confidence working independentlyClear communication skills and a professional approach on customer sitesFull UK driving licencePackage and benefits Company car includedOvertime for hours worked over 7.5 per dayStrong earning potential through overtime and travelOpportunity to develop quickly within a growing, international engineering businessThis Field Service Engineer opportunity offers broad exposure across multiple sectors, the chance to develop technically at pace and a clear path for progression.JBRP1_UKTJ
