Field Service Engineer

As a
Field Service Engineer , you will travel from the Reading / Oxfordshire area to customer sites across the UK, carrying out: Service, maintenance and repair Fault finding and diagnostics Breakdown response and inspection work on a wide range of
plant and industrial equipment . Youll be working both independently and as part of a wider team, with occasional overnight stays required depending on job location. Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair
plant machinery and industrial equipment
across customer sites Diagnose faults across
mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems Carry out
planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment to safe working condition Inspect machinery and recommend repair or replacement of components Complete job reports and documentation accurately Communicate clearly with customers regarding work completed and next steps Maintain high standards of
safety, quality and professionalism Support yard-based work when required at the local base What Were Looking For
Experience as a
Field Service Engineer / Plant Engineer / Service Engineer / Mobile Engineer Background working on
plant, access equipment, forklifts, HGVs or similar machinery Strong
fault finding skills
across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems Able to work independently and manage workload effectively NVQ Level 3
or equivalent in Engineering or Plant Maintenance Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel nationwide Desirable Experience
