Role: Field Sales Executive - Alternative Network (Alt Net) Market
Location: UK Field-Based
Salary: £45,000 + excellent commission

As the UK accelerates its fibre rollout through Project Gigabit , a leading Value Add Distributor is launching a dedicated commercial push into the Alternative Network (Alt Net) space. Backed by established infrastructure, deep vendor relationships and proven operational scale, this role offers the chance to own, shape, and grow an entirely new vertical .

The Opportunity
You'll lead market entry and expansion across the UK Alt Net ecosystem - positioning the business as the go-to distribution partner for fibre builders and network operators. You'll define the go-to-market strategy, win new customers, and build long-term, scalable revenue - with full backing from technical, logistics, procurement, and commercial teams.
This is not a 'maintenance' role. It's a build, grow, and own role.
What You'll Be Doing
Launch and execute a targeted go-to-market strategy for the UK Alt Net sector
Win new Alt Net customers and build a high-quality, scalable sales pipeline
Work closely with vendors on joint propositions, vendor-led opportunities, and market activity
Position value beyond product - supply chain optimisation, logistics, technical enablement, and commercial flexibility
Drive revenue and margin growth, with a clear path to a £10m+ annual run rate within 18 months
