Morris Sinclair are proud to be working with one of Edinburgh’s most respected MSPs, known not just for technical excellence but for building a workplace that’s genuinely fun, collaborative, and committed to developing talent.
We're helping them find a Field Engineer — someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty (and drive a fair bit). You’ll be responsible for delivering and installing essential kit on client sites, solving hardware headaches, and making life easier for users. That means you’ll need your own car and a solid grasp of hardware like laptops, desktops, printers, and networking devices including Draytek, Netgear, and Ubiquiti.
Client interaction is at the heart of this role, so beyond the tech know-how, we're looking for someone who’s personable, proactive, and unflappable — someone who can act as a true brand ambassador and bring a bit of MSP magic wherever they go.
You’ll need:
A full driving licence and your own vehicle
Hands-on experience with desktops and laptops
Solid working knowledge of Office 365
Practical understanding of printers and network devices (routers, switches etc.)
Familiarity with Draytek, Netgear and Ubiquiti kit
A positive, customer-focused attitude and quick thinking on your feet Most days, you’ll be on the road visiting clients, but on quieter days you’ll work from their welcoming city-centre office — prepping for your next job, configuring devices, and keeping the team energy flowing.
