Our client is currently recruiting for a Field CTO to join their team. They are a global MSP, therefore to be successful as the Field CTO, you will need to have experience within a MSP/VAR.

Key Role Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a go-to expert for technology advice and guidance. Translate business objectives into practical, scalable technology strategies and solutions. Oversee the delivery of large, complex programmes involving multiple technologies and stakeholders. Work closely with internal specialists across solution design, sales, and delivery to ensure cohesive outcomes. Contribute to industry discussions, client workshops, and leadership forums as a recognised expert in your field. Monitor developments in the technology landscape and bring fresh ideas and innovations to customers. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency across the full project lifecycle. Support and develop technical colleagues through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Key Attributes Required

Significant experience in the IT industry, with a broad and well-rounded technical background. Previous experience in a senior, customer-facing leadership role. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex programmes involving multiple workstreams. Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic direction. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
