Must be available to support on weekdays and weekends Mornings:

MondaySunday, 05:30am08:30am

Afternoons/Evenings:

MondaySaturday, 14:30pm21:30pm

Waking Nights: MondayFriday, 21:30pm09:00am

About the Role

We are recruiting a

female Support Worker

to join a dedicated care team supporting a young male with complex medical and developmental needs in his family home. He is a cheeky, playful character who enjoys sensory play, music, tapping rhythms, being read to, and relaxing with TV. He is non-verbal and engages through sound, touch, and sensory interaction. This is a

very busy household

with parents, two siblings (both with ASD/ADHD), and a small dog. The home is also highly

clinical , with multiple pieces of medical equipment in daily use. Clinical & Care Environment

The young person has multiple health needs including: Kabuki Syndrome

Global Development Delay

Poor swallow and high risk of choking

Chronic lung disease

Registered blind

Jej and PEG feeding

Drainage and feral bags

Oral suction

Nebuliser use

You do

not

need clinical qualifications as full training is provided but you

must

be comfortable working around medical equipment, tubes, and a fast-paced care routine. For someone without prior experience, the setup can look daunting, so confidence and willingness to learn are essential. Essential Requirements

Female applicants only

Excellent spoken and written English,clear communication is vital

Physically able

to support a strong young person during movement and care tasks

Non-smoker

(strictly required due to respiratory needs)

Comfortable working in a lively home with siblings who have ASD/ADHD

Able to follow a strict, fast-paced routine

Confident supporting someone who is non-verbal and sensory-driven
