We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher for a full-time role at a secondary school in the Birmingham area. This position is to start in April 2026 and is a maternity cover role for minimum 9 months.

To be considered, you must have prior experience delivering Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged students (KS3 and KS4), with a proven ability to inspire young learners and promote physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.

You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential, KS5 desirable) A passion for promoting sports, physical fitness, and teamwork Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory PE lessons Knowledge of GCSE PE curriculum is advantageous Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can assist with this) A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
