Here at GXO, we are currently looking for aMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, to join our coldstore contract in Bedworth. As an Engineer you will be responsible for all preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the site is operationally to full effect.

This is a full time, permanent basis, working on a rotating shift pattern of; 06:00 14:00, 14:00 22:00, Monday to Friday with the possibility of being on call during peak periods and some weekend working required

What youll do on a typical day:

  • Reactive and planned maintenance activities
  • Maintain informative Engineering & Maintenance Records
  • Notifying Management of spares necessary to maintain plant and equipment in safe working order
  • Compliance with GXO systems and practices utilised within the Engineering Department
  • Communication and liaison with other Departments and Managers/Team Leaders to enable priorities to be set
  • The undertaking of such training that may be considered relevant and in turn train other employees
  • Provide on-call cover out of hours and working such hours and shifts to provide cover to the site operations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • BS7671: 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regs
  • ONC, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • 5 years experience of working in industrial environment
  • Experience working with 3 phase motors and control circuits
  • Familiar with COSHH, LOLER & PUWER regs
  • Knowledge of food safety and industrial refrigeration - advantageous
