Job Description

Position: Fabricator Welder\n\nLocation: Sheffield (Ideal for candidates based in Sheffield, Chesterfield, or Rotherham)\n\nType: Temporary (with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks)\n\nBenefits:\n\nHourly Rate: £13.50 to £16.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)\nWorking Hours:\nMonday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM\nFriday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM\nOvertime: Time and a half after 39 hours, with Saturday morning overtime available\nAdditional Benefits:\nPaid breaks\n20 days holiday plus bank holidays\nOpportunities for training and upskilling\nOn-site canteen with vending machines\nFull PPE and uniform provided, with personal lockerWe are working with a leading provider of commercial vehicle solutions, currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join their growing team. This role is based on-site and offers the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nProven experience in fabrication and MIG welding.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.\nSkilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.\nA UK Driver's License is required; an HGV license is advantageous but not essential.\nStrong teamwork skills and a focus on quality and safety.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAs a Fabricator Welder, you will:\n\nFabricate and assemble metal components for vehicle body builds and sub-assemblies.\nCarry out MIG welding tasks to a high standard.\nRead and work from detailed technical drawings and build specifications.\nWork on refurbishment projects and new commercial vehicle builds.\nMaintain safe working practices and contribute to production targets.If you're a skilled fabricator welder looking for your next opportunity and want to join a supportive and growing team, we encourage you to apply today!\n\nAbout Us\n\nWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
