Job Title: Maintenance Craftsperson Location: North London Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (depending on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Craftsperson (Fabric Engineer) to join a facilities team based at a large hospital site in North London.
This is a stable, Monday–Friday role within a professional environment, focused on delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric.
The Role:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs. • General building fabric duties including carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and repairs. • Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and site procedures. • Supervising contractors and assisting with site operations where required. • Managing materials and reporting any hazards or defects. • Completing all relevant documentation accurately. • Participating in an on-call rota as required.
Package:
• Salary up to £37,000 (depending on experience) • Monday to Friday working pattern • On-call rota available • Stable, long-term role within a healthcare environment • Training and progression opportunities
Requirements:
• Relevant trade qualification (carpentry, building fabric or similar). • Experience carrying out building fabric maintenance within commercial or public-sector environments. • Good understanding of health & safety procedures. • Strong organisational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
