As a key member of our fleet, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' goods in a safe and efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesAct as an ambassador for the organization by ensuring timely and efficient collection of customers' mail/parcels.Comply with all legal, regulatory and company requirements at all times.Collect and deliver customers' goods safely and securely in line with company/customer requirements.Complete relevant paperwork accurately as required in line with company procedures via our online app.Ensure that vehicles, consumables and assets used are clean and secure.Complete tachograph charts and return them in accordance with legislation.Provide an excellent level of customer service in a professional and courteous manner.Drive company vehicles in a safe and proper manner in accordance with current legislation.RequirementsA current and clean appropriate class of driving licence for the role (HGV/Class C/Class C+E).Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) with no current suspension or revocation.Effective communication skills to quickly understand instructions, liaise effectively with colleagues and customers.Ability to manage own work to meet deadlines while maintaining performance standards.Positive and proactive approach to work with clear customer focus.Team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude, hard-working and willing to learn.No more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements).Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card.Right to work in the UK.Willingness to undergo a Background Check (BGC) and Drug and Alcohol (D&A) test.
