We are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy and growing engineering company based in Bilston, Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position within a supportive workshop environment.

The Role

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and coating metal components to a high-quality finish, ensuring all products meet required specifications and standards. You will be spraying items that are hung on a moving rack prior to entering the oven, using a hand sprayer. This role does not involve tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing metal surfaces for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking) Applying powder coating using hand spray equipment to a high standard Spraying items on a moving rack system before curing Operating curing ovens and monitoring temperatures and timings Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and consistency Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment Following health and safety procedures at all times Working to production schedules and deadlines
