The offer £52,000 per annum 52-week contract Typical hours 6:30am – 3:00pm (latest finish around 7:00pm) Time off in lieu for additional hours On-site parking Long-term, stable leadership role within a prestigious school The operation & food Independent senior boarding school (Years 7–13). Feeding approximately 1,000 students daily. Monday–Thursday full boarding operation. Friday no supper service, Saturday sports hospitality. Hospitality revenue of £400k–£500k per year. High-quality, hotel-style hospitality and events. Beautiful, listed dining room with modern kitchen facilities. New Sixth Form development launching next year. The role Lead the full kitchen operation as Executive Head Chef. Manage and develop a team of 9 chefs and 4–5 Kitchen Porters. Oversee the Head Chef and ensure strong daily delivery. Drive food quality across student dining and hospitality. Plan, innovate and deliver within structured school menus. Manage budgets, GP, stock and operational performance. Lead on recruitment, training and team development. Ensure full compliance with food safety and HSE standards. The ideal Executive Head Chef Experienced Executive Head Chef within Contract Catering. Must have independent school catering experience. Reliable, consistent and committed to long-term roles.
