The role suits someone who thrives in a luxury setting, enjoys building strong client relationships, and has a strong track record of converting event business.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentProactively manage and convert inbound and outbound event enquiries across corporate, social, and wedding marketsDrive revenue growth through effective upselling, cross-selling, and negotiation of rates and packagesBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed revenue targetsPrepare tailored proposals, contracts, and quotations aligned with the hotels luxury positioningClient ManagementAct as the main point of contact for clients from enquiry through to event handoverConduct professional site inspections and client show roundsBuild long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies, wedding planners, and local partnersEnsure an exceptional client journey and high levels of repeat businessInternal CollaborationWork closely with Events Operations, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless event deliveryAccurately record all event details within the hotels CRM and event management systemsSupport the delivery of VIP, high-profile, and complex events where requiredMarket & Brand RepresentationIdentify new business opportunities and market trends within the events and hospitality sectorRepresent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and client functionsUphold brand standards and ensure all client interactions reflect a 5-star experienceCandidate ProfileProven experience in an events sales or meetings & events role within a 4 or 5-star hotel or luxury venueDemonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targetsStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilitiesHighly organised with strong attention to detailConfident using CRM and event management systemsFlexible to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by the roleWhats On OfferCompetitive salary with performance-related bonus or commissionOpportunity to work within a renowned luxury hotel environmentCareer progression within a high-profile hospitality brandAttractive employee benefits packageInterested?If you are an experienced Events Sales professional looking to take the next step in a luxury hotel environment, we would be delighted to discuss this opportunity with you.
