As an Event Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations and team responsible for our screening rooms, meeting spaces, and private dining rooms. You will collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Management team and Senior Management to deliver outstanding events. Responsibilities: Running the daily operations of the events department Attending weekly meetings to review upcoming events and conducting daily briefings with the events team Leading, managing, and motivating the events team to ensure high performance and job satisfaction Communicating all event details to various hotel departments and head office Establishing strong, professional relationships with guests to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded Delivering inspirational show rounds to showcase our spaces to prospective clients Managing the departmental budget effectively to ensure financial goals are met What you Need: Previous experience as an Events Manager within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members Superb attention to detail and a drive to deliver exceptional standards consistently Strong leadership and motivational skills, capable of nurturing, developing, and inspiring staff Proven experience in training and developing team members to achieve their full potential Excellent personal presentation and a professional demeanour Resilience and a proactive attitude to get things right the first time What We Offer: Competitive salary plus service charge to be discussed at venue.
