We are looking for a driven Operations Manager with strong expertise in European road freight and trucking movements to lead a busy import/export operation. This is a key leadership role where you'll shape performance, drive efficiencies, and develop a high-performing team.
The role :
As Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the transport and logistics function, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation:
Lead and manage the full European road freight operation, including import/export movements Oversee customs compliance processes, ensuring all regulations are met Manage costings, invoicing, and quotations to maintain commercial performance Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners across Europe Monitor and improve transport costs, delivery performance, and operational efficiency Plan routes, manifest shipments, and ensure smooth execution of all transport activities Analyse performance data and implement improvements based on KPIs Handle customer queries and resolve operational challen...
