Estimator

A skilled Estimator is required to produce accurate cost estimates for structural steelwork and subcontracted works. This role involves evaluating project expenses, preparing budgets, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

• Determine material, labour, and equipment costs.
• Review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes.
• Input data into estimating software.
• Ensure projects are financially viable and competitive.
• Work closely with technical teams.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and quantity surveyors.
• Manage and coordinate tender enquiries.
• Prepare and oversee tender documentation and correspondence.
• Gather and share project feedback.
• Attend meetings with prospective clients across the UK when necessary.

• Strong numerical skills and proficiency in IT.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
