CareerMakers are currently looking for a Estimator to join our client in theWarrington area on a permanent basis. Start Date: ASAP As an Estimator, youll play a vital role in the pre-construction phase of our civil projects. You'll be responsible for analysing tender documents, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to successful bid submissions. This is a key role where attention to detail and industry experience are essential. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects. Review and assess tender documentation. Identify risks and opportunities within the scope of works. Work closely with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover. Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes. Prepare bills of quantities and pricing documents. Requirements: Strong experience as an Estimator Proficient in estimating software Excellent analytical and numerical skills Strong communication and negotiation abilities Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work Strong knowledge of infrastructure, drainage, earthworks, and highways projects If you would be interested in this position please apply
