Our client is a
well-established, medium-sized super-prime main contractor
operating at the very top end of the residential and mixed-use market in
Prime Central London . With a
longstanding reputation for quality, discretion, and delivery , they work on some of the finest properties in
Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, and surrounding prime locations . The business benefits from a
highly established and loyal supply chain , strong financial backing, and a collaborative, professional culture. Due to a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work, they are now looking to appoint an
Estimator
to join their growing pre-construction team. The Role
As Estimator, you will play a key role in the
early stages of super-prime projects , contributing to tenders, cost plans, and pre-construction strategy on schemes typically ranging from
£3m to £20m+ . This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to step into a
long-term role with genuine progression , working closely with senior management and benefiting from extensive internal support. Key Responsibilities
Preparing
detailed cost estimates
for super-prime residential and high-end commercial projects
Producing
first-principle cost plans , budgets, and tender returns
Working closely with
Commercial Directors, Project Directors, and the design team
during pre-construction
Managing and interrogating
subcontractor and supplier pricing
Leveraging an
exceptionally strong and established supply chain
Participating in
value engineering and cost-led design discussions
Assisting with procurement strategy and risk identification
Supporting negotiated and two-stage tenders
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as an
Estimator
within high-end residential, luxury fit-out, or super-prime construction
Strong understanding of
traditional build, refurbishment, and complex structural works
Confident producing estimates from
early concept through to detailed tender stage
Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
Comfortable working from a
W1-based head office
Candidates from a Quantity Surveying or commercial background with strong estimating exposure are also encouraged to apply. Whats on Offer
