Estimator & Senior Estimator Roles

Location: North Lanarkshire

Sector: Civil Engineering (Rail, Highways, Aviation, Utilities, & Power)

Join a leading team delivering complex infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. We are seeking an experienced Estimator and Senior Estimator to play a key role in preparing and managing competitive tenders that drive our client's success.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee registration, control, and administration of tender documentation.

Manage tender preparation from initial receipt through to submission.

Present tenders at review meetings with senior stakeholders.

Coordinate with supply chain teams to issue supplier and subcontractor enquiries.

Conduct technical and commercial assessments of labour, plant, materials, and temporary works.

Perform take-offs from drawings and develop cost-effective tenders using first principles.

Analyse and price project risks accurately.

Prepare tender submission documents and detailed estimating reports.

Support proposals and contract management functions.

Requirements:

Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in civil engineering sectors (rail, highways, aviation, utilities, power).

Strong background in First Principles Estimating.

Solid civil engineering project experience.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and estimating software.
