Our client, a well-established and growing construction company based in Glasgow, is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to be part of a dynamic business with exciting projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects
*
Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation
*
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
*
Source and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure best pricing
*
Track and manage tender submissions and responses
*
Support bid teams with pricing strategies and risk assessments
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience in estimating within the construction industry
*
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
*
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
*
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
