ESG and Sustainability Consultant
New Yesterday
The Role:
On the back of a successful Year 1 for an international Confidential Client, Climate Horizons has been selected for Year 2 with this ambitious and proactive client and seeks the support of a well-rounded mid-level candidate. The candidate will be predominantly working on the chosen project. Still, there will be an opportunity for other ad-hoc tasks and, once the project has culminated, to establish their preferred project type.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a remote work environment and within a global, multinational team.
We expect that the candidate will:
- Based either in the United Kingdom or Europe
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese (preferably Angolan/Portugal dialects); this is a must; please do not apply if you are not fluent in both;
- Have 5 – 8 years of experience in sustainability but feel free to apply if you have adjacent experiences in consultancy;
- Hold an environmental sciences education (environmental sciences, geology, biology, maths, chemistry, geology, etc.); preference will be given to those with a Masters, but an undergraduate with relevant solid experience will be considered.
- Must be comfortable with E&S impact assessments, ESG reporting and sustainability
- Confident command of Google Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.. (We also use Slack and Monday.com, but these can be taught!)
Soft Skills Required:
- Understand start-up environments and the particulars of these, being an equal chance for fast-paced growth and short turnarounds
- Be comfortable working fully remotely in a fast-paced virtual environment
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Flexibility and adaptability to move between tasks, shifting deadlines & responsibilities
Climate Horizons acknowledges that remote work is not appropriate for all candidates and kindly requests that candidates consider this opportunity and how it aligns with their personal preferences and nature. For the right candidate, this role can expand and expose the candidate to career-moulding opportunities, networks and projects. As such, candidates from a variety of backgrounds will be considered.
Starting date:ASAP
Type:Full-time, either contractual or payrolled, dependent on the preference and location of the candidate.
Remuneration:Based on experience, the range is €30k –€60k per annum.
