Location: UK site visits to Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire and North Yorkshire - can be based at any location

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Environmental & Sustainability Business partner/Manager to work across different sites. This is for an interim period of 3 months and inside IR35.

The Role

You will embed sustainability across operations and ensure compliance with environmental legislation. Working closely with operational leaders, you’ll provide practical guidance, manage environmental risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

Implement the Environmental & Sustainability Strategy.

*

Act as the subject matter expert for environmental compliance.

*

Support operational teams with risk management, training, and improvement plans.

*

Track legislation and translate requirements into operational action.

*

Support audits, reporting, incidents, and corrective actions.

*

Provide environmental input to bids and business development.

The Person

*

Chartered environmental professional (or working towards within 12 months).

*

Relevant degree.

*

Strong communicator with a commercial, practical approach.

*

Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused.

Experience:

*

Environmental compliance experience in a complex operational environment.

*

Proven ability to embed compliance and best practice
